Here, the two heroes are foods as simple as eggs and chicken.
You sink comfortably in a luxurious seat. The walls are covered with white painted wood and all around you, the smell of roasted chicken spread in the air. It is chic and warm, like a beautiful chalet in the mountains. This is the new culinary adventure by Antoine Westermann, a “Bistrotisserie” nestled in the hills of Montmartre.
Westermann had already left an impressive reputation with “Mon Vieil Ami” and “Drouant” restaurants. What a great way to add another stone to his edifice especially since he plays intelligently using transparency (the provenance of the poultry is traced, and the name of each producer is registered in the bottom menu).
This advantage, coupled with the undeniable food quality, and should appeal, also explaining the high prices (95 euros for a whole chicken to share between 2 to 4 people).
