There are many places to shop, and restaurants to visit. Keep in mind, many are closed on Easter Sunday and Monday. However, there are some open on Easter Monday. Paris is home to some of the finest chocolate makers in the world. Easter is a major holiday for these chocolate experts to show off their abilities. Some of these chocolate specialty shops can be on the expensive side, so if you are on a tighter budget, many of the supermarkets carry delicious chocolate as well.
Many of us like to eat out at some point over the Easter weekend. Again, many places will be closed, but there will be some places open on Easter Monday. There are some great places to have brunch. There are options for religious celebrations as well. The famous Cathederal of Notre Dame de Paris offers catholic services on easter Sunday complete with Easter prayers, and Gregorian chants. There is a protestant church called The American Church in Paris, where Easter Sunday services are also offered.
If you are traveling to paris as a family, you will want some activities for the kids. There are many beautiful parks around Paris offering organized Easter egg hunts. You could also have your own Easter egg hunt. There are so many interesting things to see in Paris.
